Couldn’t recommend Graeme enough, from initial contact with him to now where I’m post toe nail surgery he has been incredible. So kind and helpful, has always explained everything thoroughly and took time to ensure I’m comfortable with what the plan is.

After having awful issues with my big toe for months and 4 courses of antibiotics I decided to go privately to finally get it sorted and it was the best decision ever. The standard of care I have received has been second to none. The surgery itself was super successful, Graeme took his time throughout especially when numbing and apart from that very small scratch I felt nothing and was completely at ease throughout. I feel I have received great value from my money as I have had multiple review appointments since the surgery, was given a course of antibiotics and plenty of dressing supplies, all being included which has been great!

I’d been having a problem with a painful in-growing toenail over recent months. Visits to my usual chiropodist in Norwich resulted in very uncomfortable attempts at treatment and a lack of care with regards to the pain level I was experiencing. It was time to look elsewhere so I went online and found Graeme’s Podiatry Clinic - and decided to give it a try.

I’m very glad I did. After an initial consultation with Graeme, I decided with some apprehension to go ahead and have the nail cut back under a local anaesthetic. Apart from a slight scratch from the anaesthetic needle the entire process was entirely pain free. I literally didn’t feel a thing, and the toe healed very quickly. I would highly recommend Graeme’s services, not simply with regards to his technical expertise but also because of the degree of care and attention he pays to the sensitivity of the individual client. Needless to say, I will be returning to Graeme’s clinic for all my future footcare needs.

I had a very stubborn verruca on my toe for over 20 years. I had tried absolutely everything over the years and went to numerous different Podiatrists. They all tried and failed and by this time the verruca had spread to my fingers also, causing me much distress. Finally a Podiatrist highly recommended me to go and see Graeme Franklin and said to me “if anyone can cure this then it’s Graeme with his needling technique”. This was the first time I had ever heard of this procedure.

I went ahead and booked in and after my initial consultation with Graeme, everything was clearly explained to me and I was booked in for 2 surgeries. A few weeks after the first surgery i noticed the Verruca had de-bulked and became more comfortable on the foot. A few months after my second surgery all the verrucas on both my fingers and toes have completely gone. I can’t believe how well this procedure worked with minimal pain.

I only wish I had heard about this surgery and treatment earlier and not wasted my time and money on other treatments over the years. I would highly recommend Graeme to anyone looking to be Verruca-free!

I started noticing some minor discolouration on the left big toe and thought I could fix the issue on my own. Tried some of the off-the-shelf treatments kits but gradually and slowly it got a lot worse. I then tried other things and I just made it a lot worse. It got to the point where I wouldn't even walk around the house barefooted as it looked unpleasant and couldn't bare the sight of my toenail. It again just kept getting worse and I was at a loss as to what I could do.

LIFE CHANGING TREATMENT - Now Living Pain Free! I had suffered with very painful verrucas on the ball of my left foot for around 15 years and tried many treatments without success and I was apprehensive and nervous about undergoing more treatment. I was recommended to Graeme who on my first appointment carefully examined my foot and talked me through the needling procedure so I felt very well informed and much less anxious about the whole thing. I had an issue with my heel causing me unbearable pain. I consulted my GP and was referred to the hospital for an X-ray. I contacted the surgery following this and they said you will need to wait until and if contacted. As the pain did not change I decided I needed to look elsewhere. I came to see Graeme as said with still a very painful heel which had been giving me problems for many months now. I was reassured that he could resolve the problem. He scanned my feet with an ultrasound machine and he swiftly diagnosed plantar fasciitis. I was then booked in for a steroid steroid injection the next day. The foot was painlessly numbed first so the steroid injection was completely painless. The pain relief was transformational and the heel has been pain-free ever since. I cannot stress enough how the pain was gone and with such a painless procedure. I sincerely would recommend anybody. I would recommend Graeme for the treatment of heel pain because he is one of the few podiatrists in the area who does ultrasound guided steroid injections.

Where do I start? Over Christmas I developed an extremely painful ingrown toe nail, the pain was like nothing I have ever experienced.

My mother who goes regularly to see Graeme for some reason showed him a picture of it and somehow one week later I was in the chair about to have a small procedure.

I was extreme nervous and even at age 51 wanted to hug a bear but settled on my pillow

Graeme was brilliant, really put me at ease, very calm and explained everything to me step by step.

I can honestly say I hardly felt the local anaesthetic, brilliant as needle phobic. Very quickly all done, dressed bandaged and free to go.

I can hand on heart say it was relatively painless. Once the local anaesthetic wore off the pain was nowhere near anything like the intense pain and throbbing I experienced before having the procedure. Can highly recommend Graeme. For me, normal service resumes.

In one session Graeme had diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis and came up with an exercise programme and routine to help with the pain. I saw Graeme Franklin due to a persistent skin issue on my feet and I was having no luck with treatment through my GP. I have to say Graeme went above and beyond with helping me. He provided an in depth assessment and really took the time to figure out the best route for getting me the right treatment. Graeme wrote a letter to my GP with his thoughts and due to this my GP has finally referred me to dermatology. As you know back in November my GP referred me to A/E with a suspected torn Achilles-tendon which subsequently turned out to be a strained Achilles-tendon. Graeme Franklin is an excellent Podiatrist. Following my GP’s referral to the NHS Podiatry Clinic at the Shrublands Podiatry Clinic with a debilitating “CORN” where treatment was minimal and totally ineffective. My walking activity became so painful- self amputation did briefly cross my mind.

Finding a good reputable Podiatrist in GORLESTON wasn’t as straightforward as may be assumed. “Oils 4 Life” on the Hefreys Industrial Estate is not the Most obvious location - but is in fact an excellent accessible location once you find it!

Highly recommended.

As I had an ingrown toenail for some years, I had been to a few chiropodists with only temporary relief, but then I was introduced to Graeme Franklin. A very nice man! As I did not want the whole toenail removed, he suggested a partial removal instead. I was very nervous on the day but Graeme put me at ease. I am so glad I went to see Graeme I had had foot pain for some time making it difficult to carry out daily tasks My GP hadn’t been able to offer much in the way of help. Graeme was able give a diagnosis of the problem, and a possible solution, I was offered an injection in the foot to try and help reduce inflammation and relieve the pain he was very honest and admitted this does not always work, but thankfully in my case it did. The treatment was carried out in a very painless and skilful way.

Saved My Holiday Trip!!

I had been to a Nurse Practitioner and two Chiropodists with an extremely painful toe. None of the above could help or diagnose the problem...although the last one referred me to Graeme. I was so lucky to get an appointment with Graeme just before my holiday...which involved a lot of walking. He quickly diagnosed ‘Morton’s Neuroma’ and recommended Steroid injections plus Orthotic Inserts. As he is one of a very few Podiatrists licensed to give Steroid injections, he was able to give this straight away. After 2 to 3 days I was completely pain free, and this ‘saved’ our very expensive holiday! The relief was amazing. This was followed up with custom Orthotics for the condition and I have had no problems since. Can’t praise Graeme too highly; he is extremely professional and knowledgeable.
